By no means can I claim to have put together a definitive list of the greatest television themes. That's been done fairly well already, and I used it as a crib sheet in putting together these next few Friday posts.
We'll start with some wordy themes...

The 750GB (or so) worth of music that I'm slogging through includes 7 files with roughly 400-450 television theme songs. It's been pretty fun working through those to see what I've got.
That's a crapload of music, dude. Have there actually been that many good theme songs?
