...but I was amazed enough to go searching for more about this Honnold guy. I found a great article over on Outside magazine's website and a pretty good one on the NYTimes.
Man, my palms are sweating just watching those videos.

I have watched a ton of videos on him in the past. What he does is mind blowing. Sadly, and I truly mean sadly, I can't help but think that the phrase "At least he died doing what he loved...." is in his future.
That sport is one where all you can do is not fall yet. There is no margin for error, and nobody is perfect forever. I wish him well, but I'm afraid you're right.
